The quote may mean that if you are heisitant and unwilling to do any activity, you will never being anything new into your mind. In my own experience, my character is based on the following things: Following rules, being polite, and being eager to learn.
this qoute to me means, that if you are shy you will not get ny where in life, you need to be agressive with the things you want to know or ant to do, and being social is a good thing becuase it builds your social health.
I agree with this quote and I disagree with it. But I think it means that sometimes people who are shy in school or something, don't have much of a social life so they do better in school and are more focused. Yet, those who are bashful in the world may not learn anything because they are too afraid to live life. "Forget the risk and take the fall, if it's what you want, it's worth it all."
This quote is means to me that if someone bashful of others, they will never be able to learn anything from others because nobody wants to teach someone who is bashful. It applys to me because in the same sense of the quote becuase if you yell at other players in basketball, you will never learn anything from anybody.
It means that if you are shy you wont ever learn to speak up or anything when you are bashful.

Well this quote means that if you are shy, you will never be eager or willing to learn about new things. Ok this can apply to me because i am shy when i meet new people.
This quote is expressing that if your shy or afraid to ask questions you'll never learn anything. Being outgoing, self confident, and and able to ask questions will let you learn more than if you are passive. It applies to my character for if I didn't put myself out there and communicate with people id have no friends!
I think it means that if u dont make an atempt at something then u r not gonna be able to experiennce it or possibly no go anywhere in life.
its not good to be shy but some cannot help it
